DSL initially helped form a subsidiary and obtain necessary regulatory approvals to commence operations in India. Thereafter we have been managing entire accounting and payroll functions for the subsidiary (including book-keeping using the SAP system) for over 10 years.

DSL assisted in creating a budgeting structure for estimating operating expenditure under key heads and capturing actual costs against the same. Monthly Variance analysis process was laid down for regularly tracking Budget vs actual costs, to highlight potential problem areas and facilitate corrective measures in a timely manner.

DSL in a time-bound manner, assisted an Educational Consultancy Services firm to re-organize accounting records and put in place proper accounting systems and procedures. An MIS system was also put in place to provide timely and relevant information (such as Profit & Loss summary, accounts receivable and accounts payable reports) to assist in decision making.

DSL implemented a Payroll solution which allows for different salary structures and different monthly payment cycles for each category of employees (Workmen, Management and Top Management).

6. Implementation of on-line Payroll solution for Consultancy Services Company

Designing a standardized payroll structure & implementation of an online payroll processing system wherein reimbursements, employee query resolution and issuing of Form 16 can be managed.

Result Achieved

DSL helped to streamline the salary structure as per industry standards and put a correct CTC master in place. ESS was implemented (Employee Self Service Portal) wherein the employees were able to raise query though ticketing system, reimbursement was uploaded and approved on timely basis and digitally signed Fom16 were generated.

DSL identified gaps in internal controls, defined Standard Operating Procedures for the Accounts Department and helped recruit a Financial Controller to head the Department.

DSL conducted a thorough telephonic screening service, followed by a tailored interview process to best suit the Client.
